Propane marketers, first responders gather in Virginia

The latest Propane Industry Responders’ Conference drew more than 150 attendees from 12 states to the Virginia Beach Fire Training Academy in Virginia Beach, Va., last month. Firefighters, hazmat crew members, emergency response managers and propane marketers and suppliers participated in the exchange of vital propane safety information, techniques and experiences. PERC, in cooperation with the Virginia Propane Gas Association, funded the conference. The next Propane Industry Responders’ Conference will take place on Aug. 24 at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mt. Pleasant, Mich.
